I work with very simple materials, no canvas, no oil, no acryl -
just coal pens & in addition to that: coloured charcoal pencils.
then: just pencils & coloured and watercoloured ones.
as well as Pastell - Ölkreide....
but this one is a photo I took some weeks ago.
When I work on photographs or pictures like these, I change it sometimes up to twenty times in different programs until I'm satisfied with the "emotional colouring" ...as I like to put it.

I see :) charcoals are reat, i like to draw with them myself. Also just black one, leaving it monochromatic...
